Mitsouko perfume by Guerlain Fragrances

Mitsouko is a homage to the heroine of 'La bataille', the novel by Claude Farrère. It is the story of an impossible passion: Mitsouko, a beautiful Japanese woman and the wife of Admiral Togo, is secretly loved by a British officer. In 1905, when war breaks out between Russia and Japan, Mitsouko awaits with dignity the outcome of the battle, nobly overcoming her feelings.

The bottle is identical to that of L'Heure Bleue. It is said that the two bottles open and close the period between the beginning and the end of the war.

Ingredients:  Bergamot, peach, jasmine, may rose, spices, oak moss, vetiver, and wood.

Fleurs de Rocaille -  Flowers from the brook 1933

Fleurs de Rocaille is the legendary perfume of the house of Caron launched in 1933.

It was created by Ernest Daltroff form the notes of palisander, bergamot, gardenia and violet at the top; the heart of the perfume is inhabited with oriss root, jasmine, Narcissus, rose, carnation, lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, lilac, mimosa and iris, whilst the base is warm thanks to amber, sandalwood, musk and cedar.

The bottle was designed by Felice Bergaud, and is available as edp, deodorant and body lotion.

Fleur de Rocaille

Fleur de Rocaille (1993) by Caron is a floral fragrance for women.

Top notes are gardenia and violet; middle notes are mimose, iris, lilac, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley and rose; base notes are sandalwood, amber and cedar.
